I used the Chocolate Fudge Cake recipe to make these. They baked for about 10 minutes.
By reducing the fruit to a thick jammy puree, this intensifies the flavour and will taste amazing in the icing with the fudgy brownie!
I tipped a few blueberries into a small pan, with a sprinkling of sugar and a tablespoon of water. Banged on the lid, brought to a boil, then removed the lid and cooked until very soft. I pushed this through a fine sieve and if this puree is still quite liquid, return to the pan over a gentle heat to reduce til thick and jammy.
Cool completely before beating into a buttercream icing.
